Alright, here's how the September 10 Winnipeg show played out. I'm about 90% sure about this order. The encore is totally correct though. Opening song - New Wave White People For Peace Stop! Cliche Guevera From Her Lips To Gods Ears Pints of Guinness Mutiny on the Electronic Bay Miami Walking is Still Honest Piss And Vinegar Americans Abroad Borne on the FM Waves Piss And Vinegar Thrash Unreal Don't Lose Touch Encore: Amputations Up the Cuts Sink, Flordia, Sink We Laugh At Danger And after the show Tom walked along the bottom of the stage and shook everybody's hand, even though security started kicking everybody out. He stayed on stage for quite a while afterwards. And he seemed so happy too. "I really hope you guys had an awesome time like we did. We really enjoyed being here, it's our third time in Winnipeg and you guys are great". I used to think Tom not saying much during shows was really badass, but after last night, I realized that when he does have something to say, it's extremely respectful and makes you feel like a winner. It was a damn good show. I was really stoked they played We Laugh At Danger. The whole band was so happy during the whole encore. (The Minneapolis show I was at still had the best set list I've seen though)

I was at that show; I think your order is slightly off but that's the jist of it. I thought that was a really shitty setlist last night. I've been reading setlists that are more balanced and less New Wave, and so I was pumped, and then I got all of New Wave. It would have been worth it if they'd thrown in at least something rare or unique, like What We Worked For or Julie or Impact, but nada. This is also the first AM! show I've seen where people were more stoked for New Wave songs than the rest. Lastly, I am happy to say that I was the only person to successfully stage dive last night (during Pints). The security guards were douches though.

Yea, that seems to be heavier with New Wave than the other ones that have been posted. I think it's cool they change their set list every night (it seems like every night at least), a lot of bands play the same shit night after night.

I wonder what the deal was at th start of the show. After the opening acts played and AM!s sound-check/set up, there was the usual pause, then the lights went down, the stage lights went up, the room filled up and then... nothing. So they turned on the PA and played a song. Then another song. Then a few more. Five or six songs later (20 minutes), the band finally hit the stage. During the wait I could see Warren standing at the back door talking on his cell phone. I'm guessing one of the band members was "missing" or something, maybe went for a walk downtown and lost track of time or got lost.

Yeah probably. But as far as the set list goes, I've seen them twice before already, and the last 2 times I saw them, they played a lot of the older songs. Last time in Winnipeg there was Disco, Walking, We Laugh At Danger, and Reinventing. I'm a big fan of Problems, and they played that too. In Minneapolis they played a bunch of older shit and it was AWESOME. I was so happy. But you know, Tom said something about building New Wave to be an album they could play live. And while they played a few New Wave songs in the past that I've seen, I kind of wanted to hear stuff like Piss and Vinegar, or Borne on the FM Waves, since I have not heard them live before. So at the same time, I'm also really happy to be able to hear these songs as well. Another reason I enjoyed last night was because I brought along a bunch of friends (and my girlfriend again) that got hooked on them BECAUSE of New Wave's release, so they were really pumped and knew a lot of the songs. So it was fun because my friends could join in on the fun. I agree, I still would have liked to hear some older songs again, but it was still cool hearing the newer stuff.

I don't really care what AM! decide to play at shows, just being there instead of home is amazing enough for me.

ya know, the one thing i wish AM! did do that they dont.. is i wish they would just play a random collection of songs. and throw in different ones every night. i guess i just wish that going to their show would be more like pressing shuffle on their library. i get the idea of playing new songs in support of the newest album.. but who really gives a shit about supporting the new album. since when does against me do what theyre supposed to anyways? all of their music is good. they shouldnt forget that and stop playing the oldies as much. but fuckin a i still love them, and so far this tour has had a good amount more oldies. _________________ "I remember wishing that God would send some angels and blow this whole fuckin town right into the sea" http://www.mediafire.com/?8mtnhtgjnjx <--the greatest version of "Backstreets" ever.

Oh, and I really hate to be a downer, because the show was really good, but I have another gripe. The ONLY merchandise that they had for sale was New Wave material. No Crime, no Axl, not even SFAFC. If you wanted to buy an album, you had to buy a version of New Wave or a single off New Wave. I'm all for the band being on a major label, I think you should be able to make a living off of your work, but this really is an outright betrayal of their past. Obviously the band wouldn't want to boycott themselves, so I have to assume that this is a demand from their label that they've succumbed too. That alone would be reason enough to not go major, if I were ever in a position to do so.

Eh, its not that big of a deal. I mean, if you want it that badly, just go buy it online or something. And Im pretty sure they werent forced to do anything. It seems silly (to me) that they would sell albums that were originally released 5+ years ago, when they are on a tour supporting New Wave.

I'm pretty sure that they're just selling that stuff cause it's one of their last runs in support of New Wave. I'm sure when their next album comes out, and they have all new merch and albums to sell, people will be pissed that they're no longer selling New Wave t-shirts.

Right, but they'll want them once they can't have them anymore. AM! fans will complain about everything. I bet once they come out with a new album, people will be bitching about how they don't play enough New Wave songs at their shows anymore.
