Subject: thoughts on the new AM! album.. Sat May 02, 2009 6:49 pm
so here is a list of known songs that have been played live up until this point (all songs are working titles, even the confirmed ones)
confirmed song titles lehigh acres bob dylan dream #12&35 rapid decomposition the western world hot shots david johanson's soul white crosses
unconfirmed song titles southwest florida sunset teenage anarchist
unnamed new song1 (played live early in april, acoustic version on kyte player. "you dont have to surrender your soul") new song2 (played only at the bloxbox gift certificate show, 2 videos on the kyte player of the intro) new song3( a girl i used to love; from the 42809 webcast show)
album info -in a SPIN interview Tom has said there are 15 songs -recording will begin in june after the Tom/chuck ragan tour -Tom has also said the style is new and will include his new piano skills
---
my opinion on the album. from the songs i've heard especially the newest new song this album is going to be something very rare. i really do hope they have more songs then the 11 mentioned above, tom says they have 15 ready to tour with. the only song i kinda feel meh about is newsong 2 thats kind of bland and bobdylan dream doesn't seem to original. i kind of hope there is a last minute song or somehting that Tom writes about his new baby he's having that would be very cool to hear, probably would end the album. overal i think this not only will be the best against me album but one of the top albums of the decade and one of the best "punk" albums ever. hopefully this album is out before the summer is over and i can finally go see AM in concert and bring my harmonica

My thoughts on this album is that this is going to be Against Me!'s fourth full-length, and it is going to be great. This is similar to how Star Wars and Indiana Jones were both very good trilogys, and the Matrix was a groundbreaking film and it is too bad they never did any sequels. If you catch my drift.
Seriously though, the only problem I have with this new album is that if only the songs we have heard thus far are recorded, then that means we have heard all the songs. I WANT MOAR!!! And there better be an acoustic song on the album. ON THE ALBUM I SAID.

By the way "White Crosses" is what it is called on my setlist.
I'd call that as confirmed as it would get.
OH SFAFC those (Insert Names) after song titles are what they write them down on setlist. What is on a set list doesnt mean it the name of the song. When i went to go see big D and the kids table on the set list L.A.X was called FUCK!. so they arent always song titles

Still it's not too much a stretch considering what they put on the rest of the set lists. I mean it's at least a shortened version of what they have come up with?
