My thoughts on this album is that this is going to be Against Me!'s fourth full-length, and it is going to be great. This is similar to how Star Wars and Indiana Jones were both very good trilogys, and the Matrix was a groundbreaking film and it is too bad they never did any sequels. If you catch my drift.
Seriously though, the only problem I have with this new album is that if only the songs we have heard thus far are recorded, then that means we have heard all the songs. I WANT MOAR!!! And there better be an acoustic song on the album. ON THE ALBUM I SAID.
uh fifth?
I think he was saying that New Wave is kind of like Star Wars ep. 1-3 in that people try to act like they didn't happen.

I think the new batch of songs are definitely better than the songs on New Wave, but I am also worried that studio versions will lack the rawness and passion of their live performances.

Man a lot of people really don't like New Wave, huh? That's unfortunate. They're missing a whole nother side to Against Me! that is still really good.
But then again, it's really hard for me to dislike almost anything, and I like AM! alot, and it still sounded like AM!, just with a different touch, so I like it a lot.

you suck lol
But they do! I'm not saying the songs themselves suck, but what happened to the longer, clever titles from ATEC and RAR?
I blame the stolen demo from the aborted Lucero split.

nope, was the actually demo they where going to take to studio to play with. That split was all talk, they never wrote anything for it, just asked Ben if they wanted to do a split, Ben said it would be cool. They said somehting about it in an interview and since than, its all talk.
Lucero/Against Me! Split would be fucking EPIC
