But there's one thing that bothers me about it, and it's a really random pet peeve of mine:

Alot is not a word. A lot = many, allot = to distribute.

haha, it's something I try to avoid in my writing, but in conversation it always slips.

Still, aside from that, it's good.

peeking through my sister's rolling stone, i saw this little thing:

it gives the song titles "Bamboo Bones" and "High Pressure Low"

...and the closest thing they've ever done to a ballad, "Breaking Up." Gabel - whose wife just had a baby - says it's not a "traditional falling-out- of-love-type" song. Maybe the lyrics are a metaphor for Against Me!'s divorce from hardcore punk? "I don't fuckin' know any of the answers," he says. "But I don't feel I should have to subscribe to any labels or ideologies."

I think Rapid Decomp is incredibly punk and the other songs could be described as punk, too. Rolling Stone is trying to make them sound more mainstream so that they can make the article easier to sell. That magazine is such shit.

i agree also. my sixteen year old sister reads it religiously. she started getting it for free after she bought a poster size cover from the when the jonas brothers were on it. i dislike that magazine.
