Toejam and Earl. That game rules! And is probably my favorite game of all time .... we used to laugh so hard at the aliens being chased by the hamster in the rolly-ball and other assorted "earth" creatures.

Please, somebody tell me they remember Toejam and Earl!!!

Escape from planet Funkatron was amazing. I downloaded Toejam and Earl 1 and 2 on my wii. Good times. I was in 1st grade when I first played this.

I hate growing up

nhl stanly cup hockey on the super nintendo!

was messed the fuck up! all you had to do to "speed burst" was use the body check button and you could instntly catch your opponents. also there is some random progression of buttons that when you press it, pulls your golie! why would you want that? your opponents can score from there end! also it was incredable hard to score, but i knew how to get a goal every time! yea, bounce it off the boards beat out the icing and smash that shit in the net!

any ever heard of "the angry video game nerd" if not go look now, if you love old "shitty" games you love this guy.

Oh WOOOWWW this thread is so me.

Some of my favourites & the machines I played 'em on from what I can remember...

Cannon Fodder (Amiga 500+)
Tomb Raider 2 (PS1)
Circuit Breakers (PS1)
Goldeneye (N64)
Streets of Rage (Megadrive)
Golden Axe (Megadrive)
Populous: The Beginning (PS1)
Actua Soccer 2 (PS1)
Desert & Jungle Strike (Mega Drive & Amiga 500+)
Donkey Kong (SNES? or NES? can't remember which I had)
C&C + Red Alert (PC)
The New Zealand Story (Amiga 500+)
Home Alone (Mega Drive)
Lemmings (PC)
Micro Machines (Master System + Amiga)
Mortal Kombat series (Master System & Mega Drive)
Sensible Soccer (Mega Drive)
Sonic + Mario series'
Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
Kick Off 2 (Amiga 500+)
Theme Park (PC)
Crash Team Racing (PS1)
Bubble Bobble (PS1 and some others before it)
Sim City (PC)

There's loads more that I can't remember the names of too Sad Did anyone else have a master system or an amiga? There's a few classics on them that I just can't remember... One amiga one was a WWII fighter pilot one where you'd have dogfights and bombing raids etc, and when different things happened it'd cut to a black & white screen with writing on like in old movies... "OH NOES!" etc when you were gonna crash (or at least something along those lines :p).

Then on the master system there was that one where you were a couple of rambo-esque freedom fighters and essentially you moved an aimpoint around the screen with the d-pad and just shot the crap out of everything with a mate. Great fun Smile

I'm about to make a true confession about how pathetic I am with video games. Please, Promise me it won't leave this room.

All my experiences with Toejam and Earl were as a spectator, watching from the sidelines while the kids played.... so these last few days I've searched for and have been watching youtube videos of all the different levels being played - and it's just like I remember from years ago.

So for me to download the game and actually try to play it would be awkward and wrong - I'm much happier just watching the screens and listening to the sound effects.

Lately I've been obsessed with Red Faction for the PS2. Ever play it? Its old-ish, i think 02. I always play multi player and play the same level, The Lobby.
