| Does it really get looked over? I love this song... it was one of the first ones to grow on me when I first got As the Eternal Cowboy. Makes me want to dance (okay, flail, but they're one in the same for me) like older AM! stuff. So much energy. _________________ "We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down."

| There was cameras brought for pictures to hold all the small details. We left them all behind, we left them all behind. There was a place for there was a time for, we arrive to leave again, there is no point in a keepsake when you run from collections. I know one day there will be a book or a song line to remind me how much it meant to me hungry, exhausted and alone. Direction is a point, direction is a purpose, destination is a reason to live...and this makes a heart beat. This could be any day, this could be any year. This could be any stage, this could be any city. All that matters is we're moving on. The roadside graveyards pass and we escape, we escape, we escape, we escape repeating. And this construction of a nation building up and the destruction of a nation tearing down to build again. Trailing taillights like the ghosts of the past to escape those pasts, en route to arrival. We're never going home. _________________ You're teaching your kids to repeat what you did growing up as a dickhead yourself.

I could never hear that. I hear "oh, this heart beats" which is more fun to yell anyway. _________________ "We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down."

| I never new the lyrics until right now...... and when I read them I feel like I have to go as fast as they are in the song, haha. It's about escaping the younger days when he had to struggle to survive. Doesn't sound like he misses it at all. _________________ You're teaching your kids to repeat what you did growing up as a dickhead yourself.

| I love this song. I used to just kind of look over it, and go to other songs, but recently I've been loving it. To me it's mostly about touring, and how they progress as they tour. This song really shows to me how much they love touring, which I think is why I like it so much. _________________ I am a leader, but you will not follow me I ain't no preacher for I'm full of blasphemy - See you in hell, boys.
