I'm so sorry to hear about that. When I was in 6th grade my girlfriend died in a car accident. But that was an elementary school relationship. I couldn't imagine what that's like for you.

| thanks. he was the first guy to say he loved me besides my dad... he dies last year on May 11th cuz he was drinking and driving..... so everytime i hear this song especially so close to may 11th i keep thinking about him. damn tom gabel for bringing up all these feelings. |

| I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that the line you interpreted as "casket so unreal", or whatever, is actually something along the lines of "though it seemed you were thrashin' unreal", which might indicate that the female character in this song is the same or at least closely associated with the one from Thrash Unreal. Again, just speculation. |
