| So now that that debate is over we can move on, now, who will ask Tom if his mom lives near any sirens? ;-) Does the zoo have sirens? _________________ "America is just a word but I use it."

Can you ask him about the untouchables line in Walking is still honest? |

Hey, no problem. Tom is awesome and he always answers my questions when I write to him on myspace or hotmail. If you have any questions about a song meaning, I'm sure he'd answer them for you too. He's so nice. |

And, if it had been "fright" then ... I don't know - the lion would have whimpered? What do you think? _________________ "America is just a word but I use it."

| MMmmmmmmmmm, I donno if I'm interrupting the topic, or if "fight" has indeed been confirmed, but I've always wondered about the lyrics. . . "And in passing I am asked "Do you believe in a God?", I shrug off the answer, continue to get high. in this terror of no explanation. I am looking for a faith. My panic is an only reason." While the words themselves are explanatory. . . what has tom ever said about personal religion? Or is this more about believing in anything blatantly, rather than religion. . . Just curious for opinions. . . |

Tom talks about religion in some of his songs. "Praying to a God that I don't even believe in, "Well, dear Jesus, are you listening?" "taking all I know about nihilism and trying to build it into a life." "If I could have chosen where God would hide his heaven, I would wish for it to be in the salt and swell of the ocean. " "God save us all."

| Yeah, and he wears a cross necklace. Someone asked about his necklace once and he just said "Good luck charm." I don't think Tom is really down for talking about his personal religion, which is totally understandable. _________________ I'd rather steal your whiskey than your heart in conversation.

| I think the issue is more or less, he believes in a GOD, but not the "Biblical" persona God is given. |
