| ATTN GREAT DEBATERS OF JOY LYRICS: I couldn't stop thinking about whether or not the lyrics were "fight" or "flight," so I asked Tom and he answered the question for us. Lauren,
It is actually "Fight", not "Flight". When the artwork for the record was being completed one of the people at Fat was proof reading the lyrics and thought that it was supposed to be "flight". I didn't catch the mistake so the lyric books went uncorrected, and thus the website is wrong as well since the lyrics on the website are taken from the lyric books. Thanks for the heads up though, I should probably correct the website.
My mother lives a couple blocks away from a zoo. Whenever Im down visiting her I like to sit out on the back porch and write. I've written many songs there. Sometimes at night you can hear the lions roaring in their cages. -TomYayyy. |

| I have listened to all the differerent versions of Joy I have and it sounds like he says fight sometimes and flight others. ??? On the demo, they sound like flight, on SFAFC it sounds like fight. Live at houston sounds like flight, and live on WKDU it sounds like fight. |
