There's a whole thread about that song some where on here, but I think and don't like, go by what I'm saying completely because I am in no way an expert at song meanings, buuuuttt, I think it's probably talking about some woman in his past, maybe some one who had tied him to Florida, and she had moved on to another guy, talking about how upset he was when she left, but he needs to keep moving on.
