this is my band/solo project Great Big Canadian A! it's indie/folk/punk stuff. mostly in the style of Kind of Like Spitting.

damn the torpedoes is supposed to be the best...... im just uploading the greatest hits (i dont want to up the whole box set, and i dont think you would want much of the later stuff)

I've started writing my own material now...currently working on a little E.P or whatever.
Here's a demo I just finished for the first track, it's a very short song leads straight into the second track and they are both really thrashy and shouty. I wrote and recorded it in about an hour so it will probably change alot.

its really rough....the second chorus is off time at one point.....ill end up rerecording it once me and my friend guthrie start doing shows as just us two.......theres no bass because if we do this as a side project, we wont have a bass player......

The only time I make up good songs is with my friend Caitlyn. I made up this amazing song about a cloud named Danny, it was the best shit ever. We had the lights out and I was laying on her bed with a guitar and it just came to me, it was good times.

Some of you might have already heard our "Beginning in an ending cover" but we are actually a real band too! haha. We're called "Apologies, i have none" and we play upbeat sing-along stuff.
Take alisten, if you live in the Uk, we're playing all over the place, so come see us live! This sounds like a horrible band-advert now, sorry about that. AM! fans seem to like our stuff though.

Two New Year's Eves ago, my friend Liam and I got drunk and joked about starting fake bands to make myspace accounts with the stupidest music we could come up with. The next day, sober, he actually did it. Then I felt obligated to do it. The Myspace accounts are still up...
My songs were about how lame Myspace is, a mass-suicide pot luck dinner, and a snuff film actress. He wrote songs under the band name The Dayglo Unicorns about this gross guy named Gary who he worked with that liked hookers, a concert we saw where people kept throwing ice at the band, this party I had where some dude pissed on my brothers bed, etc.
