| This guy is immense. He used to sing for Million Dead, now he's doing his own acoustic solo thing. He's punk as fuck at heart. Anyone? www.myspace.com/frankturner_________________ The sun's always rising in the sky somewhere...| noni wrote: | | morals are for people who aren't hot enough to get any. |

| Never heard of him, but I'm looking him up as we speak. _________________ "Would Hamlet have felt the delicious fascination of suicide if he hadn't had an audience, and lines to speak?" ~ Jean Genet

| Just thought I'd bump this thread again to say that I just got hold of his new album and it's just as amazing as all his other material. I want to sit and sing along with every song, but I don't know the words yet. Can't wait to get home so I can learn it all on my guitar. _________________ The sun's always rising in the sky somewhere...| noni wrote: | | morals are for people who aren't hot enough to get any. |

| i downloaded one of his albums awhile ago, and the song Once We Were Anarchists was the only thing that really stuck out. but it probably turned out to be one of my most-played songs of last year. |

| If you can, try get your hands on his cover of Chris TT - Huntsman Comes a Marchin'. It's brilliant. It's about the Fox Hunting ban in the UK, and the Cuntryside Alliance who demonstrated against it. Misspelling intentional. I can upload it actually if anyone's interested, I think it's a live bootleg track anyway. _________________ The sun's always rising in the sky somewhere...| noni wrote: | | morals are for people who aren't hot enough to get any. |

Hahaha. Kudos for well timed thread. I seen him(/them) tonight, I had to leave early to catch my bus home but it was fucking immense. They played back in the day while I was there though which was awesome. Haven't managed to get my grubby paws on the new album as of yet though, no money is the worst excuse ever but the only one I have. I promise I will though, the man is actually a genius. Oh, and he was wearing a Chris TT shirt which was cool. If you could send that song my way it would be much appreciated! thank youuuuuu |
