| yeah, you can definitely feel the void that Jack left. i wish they would have just gone on as Bad Friends. doing it like this is almost disrespectful to themselves, you know? not that the new stuff isn't good, it's just too different to be DTM. |

| It isn't that great, but I don't think it sucks. It just doesn't sound like Dead To Me, and that's something I don't like. You're right, different things can be good, but this is way slower and not half as catchy as Cuban Ballerina and Little Brother are. |

| After a few spins, African Elephants really grew on me. There are one or two duds, but after you just accept that it's different, it's a solid record. I think "Blue" is DTM's "Animal." |
