Was a great show. Marquee was a pretty lame venue, though. |

| I hate Marquee, I never really have a good time there and the sound always sucks. I could go on about how much I hate it for days. They frisk you, they charge too much. But they have good acts, it blows _________________ We're the heart and soul of this heartless country

| The show wasn't even all that crowded. NOFX sold the place out in January, but I'd be surprised if the Propagandhi show was even at a third of capacity. That being said, it was still a good show. The guy selling merch for Bridge & Tunnel actually sold me some Off With Their Heads records a few weeks earlier, so I had an awfully short conversation with him in that regard. Cool guy. (Can't wait for Off With Their Heads to come here next month!!!!!!!!!!!) |

| Off With Their Heads is here with Dear Landlord, playing the Phix on July 25th. Fake Problems is here with Ninja Gun, playing Modified Arts on July 26th. (Don't really care for Ninja Gun, but it's a better fit than the last tour. For my tastes, anyways.) What a great weekend. I had never been to a show at Modified Arts until last month, when the Phix's power went out, and the Living With Lions/Polar Bear Club show was relocated. Not sure how it'll be for a band like Fake Problems, but it was an incredible venue for the show I saw. Just the perfect size. Can't wait for the next awkward meeting. Maybe we'll make eye-contact. Hahah. |
