They sound fine... just kinda don't mesh with AM!'s style IMO, which is likely another reason why he left.
Basically, he plays that high-hat like a motherfuckers, sometimes throughout the whole song. |

| Usually, when someone mentions "disco beats", they're referring to playing the hi hat only on the off beats. Opening and closing the hi hats while hitting on the "and" of every beat, and still playing the snare on two and four. Or, playing sixteenths on the hi hat. _________________ And Maybe we'll never see our efforts indicated maybe we'll never amount to anything We're not looking back, we're not making compromises We are willing to dare, we are willing to believe

| Despite the avatar of me playing bass, which I do, I'm a drummer, have been for 11 years, and was before I learned bass, heh. _________________ And Maybe we'll never see our efforts indicated maybe we'll never amount to anything We're not looking back, we're not making compromises We are willing to dare, we are willing to believe

| Just listening to the first track, and I can already confidently say I enjoy it way, way more than what was already released. As Caleb mentioned, way more "thump". Awesome. |
