It was to be an epic music odyssey of me and my love for Andrew, the kidnapping, the wedding.... It was all so perfect. Too much sodding coursework to get through to finish it though, damn.

I saw Against Me! for the first time last year at the 91X christmas show in san diego. Halfway through the set, Tom started talking and said:

"it's come to my attention that this show is sponsered by the US Marines. I would like you all to know that we do not support this organization whatsoever. If we had been aware of this when asked to play this show, we would not have played it. Please do not buy any of our merch tonight as it will probably go to promote the marines and the war effort. Thank you."

I saw them for the second time at Warped in Pamona and talked to Tom about it. He said that he remembered it as:
"The time I almost got my ass kicked by thousands of angry marines."
It was pretty awesome.

Ahhh you were actually at that show. Wow. It would have been awkward for me. So many angry people. Tom has balls.
