I just walk to the pub. There are so many about that it's not so difficult. The tricky part is getting across the bridge over the North Saskatchewan River. One kilometre long, really, really, really high up. I managed to walk it blind drunk one night as I had missed the last train. Not the best experience ever, owing to no sense of equilibrium and a crippling fear of heights. Still, good times.

I usually skate board drunk.. I actually keep my skateboard in my truck at all times in case I go somewhere, get drunk and then wish to leave that place.. Skating drunk is funner because it's funnier and less painful when you eat your shit.. The negative is the next day when you can't move and you've got bloody scabs sticking to your bedsheets when you wake up..

Be careful. My brother was riding his bike drunk, hit a car and knocked the mirror off. He left a note but the guy is claiming to have never seen a note and now my brother is in court and is looking at thousands of dollars in legal fees. So steer clear of the cars if you can.

I've actually been hit by a 4x4 before, but it was in broad daylight and I was on the way to college. Totally my fault though, because I used to ride brakeless.

I also ran over a Badger a few months ago. I faceplanted the floor so hard, but I heard it run off so I didn't hurt it too bad. I was actually listening to New Wave at the time aswell. Laughing
