| I finished Ayn Rand's Anthem this morning. although I disagree with her overall philosophy, I really liked this book.
I started Jean-Paul Sartre's The Age of Reason this morning. I'm very interested in existenialism, so I'm excited to read this.

| Ayn Rand is my hero. We the Living is a beautiful book. I just read One Day of Life (English Translation) by Manlio Argueta It's a fantastic book and an easy read. it's about daily life and struggles in El Salvador. We read it for my class on the history of Central American revolutions. The simple language and peasant perspective really helped it out. _________________ You're teaching your kids to repeat what you did growing up as a dickhead yourself.

| Has anyone ever read The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell? _________________ ((FDK))"More than likely, though, kids won't even notice a ban on flavored cigarettes -- they're all too busy smoking pot." | StoolPigeon wrote: | | The funny thing about this is how Schwarzenbach is like Schwarzenegger and Bach combined. |

| she's a great creative writer who believes in being strong and independent. Seriously, read We the Living. It's probably the best (non-kid) book I've ever read. I read her stuff from more of a "let yourself flourish" view than a politcal view. _________________ You're teaching your kids to repeat what you did growing up as a dickhead yourself.

| Ayn Rand is a great writer who i completely disagree with about almost everything. Atlas Shrugged is pretty incredible. |
