So I decided to get into a new sport this year and chose NBA - I've read a bit about the leagues and things but I'm still picking up everything about it (it's totally new to me, I barely even know the rules).

Anyway, I'm gonna be following the Denver Nuggets this season Very Happy (it follows on from a in-joke in our house, we got into NBA Jam on the Sega Megadrive again a few months ago and haven't looked back)

So:

1. Any other NBA fans?
2. Any good places to look for info for people new to the sport?
3. Anything I really should know about NBA?
4. Any other NYYUUUGGETS fans?

From what I gather, Nuggets' opening night is this coming Wednesday against Utah Jazz. In NBA they always play two games against the same team one night after the other? I know in a season teams play others in their own division 4 times, then teams from across the country twice. Somewhat lost, but I'm gonna track down somewhere to watch it and get involved Very Happy

i grew up a knicks fan.
but its just hard to enjoy that sad sack of motherfuckers nowadays. (this coming from a diehard mets fan)
so now i just casually watch basketball.
