Facebook is creepy. I keep getting friend requests from kids I barely talked to in high school, it's like everybody wants to add their entire graduating class onto their friends list even though, if memory serves me correct, we all kind of hated each other? And then I get notifications like "SO & SO JUST ANSWERED THE QUESTION 'IS LAUREN MORRIS NAUGHTY?' CLICK TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY SAID!" and then I'm supposed to add some application to find out if the dude from my 11th grade geometry class thinks I'm naughty or not? I'm sorry but that is super fucking creepy!

EDIT: Oh and then after adding the application, it wanted me to answer questions about my own friends and the first thing it said was "IS CHLOE H. GAY?? YES OR NO." So intrusive, Facebook.

I ignore most app requests. My friends probably think I'm a dick. And a bunch of people I barely knew in high school added me too. But a bunch of my favorite high school teachers added me too, which is kinda cool because chances are I'll never see most of them again, and they're cool.

I'm very selective about my facebook friends and I've blocked every app except for bumper sticker and scrubs.

They've gotten better with settings, now it's only as creepy as you want it to be.

Haha what. That's silly, my sexual preference is right there on my profile... now if it had asked if I was naughty THAT would be intrusive.

Just block application requests, it essentially cuts the crap out of Facebook. I only add people that I like or people that have useful things to bring to my life - admittedly I do have some folks on that I know from high school that I never see any more but I made a friends list for them that essentially hides my profile from them, but I'm still their friend.
