We are currently reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche.

The book is divided into 4 main parts and includes a prologue.
Together, these FOUR parts contain 79 sections of which some are also broken down into sub-sections.

Prologue : 10 Sections
Reading will begin immediately and discussion for the Prologue will run until Sat, Jan. 31st. *

The schedule thereafter will be as followed:

First Part : Sections 1-22
Sun, Feb. 1st - Sat, Feb. 7th

Second Part : Sections 23-44
Sun, Feb. 8th - Sat, Feb. 14th

Third Part : Sections 45-60
Sun, Feb. 15th - Sat, Feb. 21st

Fourth Part : Sections 61-79
Sun, Feb. 22nd - Sat, Feb. 28th

You may post on past sections at any given time.
Reading ahead is encouraged.
Refrain from posting on a section until its week comes along.

Well initially I was going to pitch:

The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky (a huge read though, might be too heavy)

The Once and Future King by T. H. White (the great King Arthur story)

and

Speed Tribes by Karl Taro Greenfeild (an non-fiction about a Japanese subculture)

I'd like to read Fyodor BUTTTT length can be an issue. The whole book club could die out or lose interest.

I agree. We could break it down into chapters and do it behind the scenes of the main read. Reading Crime and Punishment is what got me into the literature so I'm very pro-Dostoevsky. Smile
