| Haha this is great. | jesus people wrote: | | However, scientists do not dig up anything labeled with those ages. They only uncover dead dinosaurs (i.e., their bones), and their bones do not have labels attached telling how old they are. The idea of millions of years of evolution is just the evolutionists’ story about the past. No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. |
Hahahaha really?
When I was seven or eight I tried to read the bible. It was like a children's version.
Then that lady turned into a pillar of salt and I realized I was an atheist. |

| Tolkien is better with words. Much more eloquent. _________________ ((FDK))"More than likely, though, kids won't even notice a ban on flavored cigarettes -- they're all too busy smoking pot." | StoolPigeon wrote: | | The funny thing about this is how Schwarzenbach is like Schwarzenegger and Bach combined. |

| Have you read the entire bible? It actually has some really great messages about love and forgiveness. Unfortunately, too many people who read the bible don't read it in the context it was written (i.e. thousands of years ago) and they use it as a weapon instead of a tool to promote love and understanding. _________________ I'd rather steal your whiskey than your heart in conversation.

| We have Michael Bolton for love and forgiveness. I don't know if it's the same in the English bible, but the Dutch one is reeeeeaaaaaallllllly hard to read entirely. The way that thing is written is just terrible. Like it was written by a couple of people for whom waking up is the most exciting thing of their life. It's boring. |

I went through 12 years of Catholic school. I can tell you, that, the point of %80 of the bible stories have the final lesson of Love, forgiveness, or God creating out of love. We even learned that the early parts of the bible were written, while the Jewish people were in exile, because they needed something to believe. The point, to take away, was that god created us out of love, and we should always have faith in him.
I know way more about the bible than I want to, but I guess that's okay, because I can defend or attack it accordingly, haha. People like to use it to keep others in line, trying to use it as a scare, it's ridiculous. _________________ And Maybe we'll never see our efforts indicated maybe we'll never amount to anything We're not looking back, we're not making compromises We are willing to dare, we are willing to believe

It does have a good message, I just think its fucking retarded to believe in it literally. |
i completely agree with this! i like the idea too i like to reflect and pray and love and forgivness.. im currently looking into meditation its very expensive though but as i said i like the idea of there being more and being a good person. |

| You don't need the bible, some other book or meditation to be a good person. |
