A friend of mine was shot and killed on the border today. And some Mexican drug-dealin' gangsters are seeking out my good friend and dealer. I've known about the drug cartels getting more out of hand, but to me, it seems like this whole situation got exponentially worse virtually over night. Opinions?

am so sorry to hear about your friend.

from what i have read Atlanta's getting the worst of the drug war spilling over. Its happening all over though and i think we need to get the national guard down there beefing up security. They exist to protect the mainland so why not.

if i were you i'd cut all communication with that one friend and dealer and get out of San Marcos. can't be too careful

wow, Daggar. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I've never lost a friend before, so I can't imagine what you're feeling right now.

as for the Drug War, I really don't quite know how it should be handled. here's hoping Obama will do the right thing, whatever that may be.

It is bad. I hear some crazy stories about Tijuana.

Most recently my brother told me about his friend going to TJ to party with his friends and sister. They were drinking and his sister had to use the restroom. She left and never came back. They looked all over, but couldn't find her. They decided to cross back into San Diego to get help. As they were in their car waiting to cross, one of the guys spotted her in the backseat of another car. They rushed towards the car and found that she was dead. Her body had been stuffed with drugs.

Sad

Sorry to hear about it happening though.

If drugs were legal, there would be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... AND everywhere else. Peculiar characters.
