Ooh, it must've been about seven, eight years ago. Me and the little lady was out on this boat, you see, all alone at night, when all of a sudden this huge creature, this giant crustacean from the paleolithic era comes out of the water. It stood above us looking down with these big red eyes, and I yelled. I said, "What do you want from us, monster?!" And the monster bent down and said, "...Uh I need about tree-fitty." I said "I ain't giving you no tree-fitty you goddamn Loch Ness monster! Get your own goddamn money!"

no, it sucked. i mean it was good but with all the hype i thought i was going to shit my pants and not be able to sleep for a week. neither happened. the last 10min were scary but not shit your pants scary.

There's this girl who comes into my dorm and yells at my roommate "Can I get a dollar fitty!?" frequently,,,and she's serious.
The first time I just about died laughing.

then it ended. there was no awesomeness.

i hated the blair witch project also.

exactly. my friends who loved paranormal activity say blair witch project is one of the scariest movies of all time...
both suck so bad.

I saw it. It gave me the creeps. I used to live in a legit haunted house where the previous owner died in my bedroom. The scariest part throughout the movie were the rats in the corner of the theater. I was sitting up front, and during one of the 'scary' scenes, I heard all these strange, eerie sounds and a bit of movement. I said out loud "You have GOT to be kidding me!" People got angry, a few minutes later, i see these hairy little buggers running towards me. I was about to shit my pants.

When i said paranormal, i wasn't talking directly about the movie. But, it can turn into the discussion regarding the suckfest : )

I guess it's a good thing I've never heard of this movie.

My brother brought up a good thought about Ghost Hunters though, why does it always seem that they say 'your house could very well be haunted.'

Are our dead not moving on anymore?

Also, is haunting induced damage covered under rental insurance?

I saw Paranormal Activity.
I didn't think it was good, but it creeped me out more than I expected it to.
Maybe because I was stoned and haven't been stoned in a long time, and don't really ever watch horror movies.

I think the true story that its based on is just that this guy was kind of a dick and his girlfriend was schizo and she killed him.
Thats just my theory.

what about that movie the fourth kind. about alien abductions in Alaska. that movie looks pretty freaky. they take real footage of crazy interviews and mix them with re-enacted ones... at least thats what it looks like in the preview.
